Road Incident Procedures
If you encounter a road incident, your priority is safety. Follow these steps:
- Stop safely without causing further danger
- Switch on hazard lights to warn other road users
- Check for injured persons and assess the situation
- Call emergency services if needed, giving clear location details
Emergency Vehicles
Emergency vehicles require immediate and appropriate response:
- Move to the side of the road and allow them to pass safely
- Do not panic or block intersections
- Follow the instructions of police or emergency personnel
Breakdown Safety
If your vehicle breaks down, ensure your safety first:
